The Mexican government deeply deplores yesterday’s events in Las Vegas, Nevada and categorically condemns any act of violence against innocent people. It conveys its sincere condolences to the victims’ families and hopes for a speedy recovery for the wounded.
As soon as it became aware of the shooting, the Mexican consulate in Las Vegas was instructed to follow the investigations in order to identify any Mexican citizens affected by the tragedy and to provide them with consular protection and assistance.
