During his appearance before the Senate to discuss the fifth annual report of President Enrique Peña Nieto’s administration, Foreign Secretary Luis Videgaray submitted a report on the official international aid received after the September 7 and 19 earthquakes.
“Today, we know that we have good friends around the world and we have gratefully accepted the help of many countries,” said Foreign Secretary Videgaray.
The report lists in detail the assistance provided by brigades, canine units, civil protection experts, structural evaluators, physicians, as well as the in-kind aid from the governments of 24 countries, the United Nations and the European Union.
